Every contractor’s CSLB license is checked against the state registry before they can bid, and re-checked so lapsed licenses drop out. We match on name and ZIP, not just a license number, so a contractor cannot borrow someone else’s license. Photo proof of completed work is required before payment releases.
How does payment work?+
Today you pay your contractor directly — FastHands does not hold your money. Escrow protection is coming soon; when it launches, payment will be held until the work is submitted as done. In the meantime, the signed agreement, the chat history and the photo proof are your record if something goes wrong, and you can raise a dispute with us.
How fast will I get bids?+
